3 Careers
1. Art/ Music Therapist
2. What does a day in your job look like?
3. I work as an art therapist with adults who have physical and developmental disabilities and chronic mental illness. Mondays through Fridays I have two groups each day: a morning and an afternoon group. Right now, my groups can range from 9 to 12 adults. Some may be in wheelchairs or use walkers. Some may have autism or Down Syndrome or TBI - Traumatic Brain Injury from an accident or fall. At the moment, we are working in clay, and we are loving it! The smell reminds us of spring mud and the coolness of the clay calms us. The groups are making pinch pots and formed dishes and hand clay pots. The hand clay pots are a new idea. An artist will roller out the clay like cookie dough, then put his/her hand on top, cutting through the clay with a putty knife to form a clay hand. Then the fingers and palm are gently formed into a bowl shape. These are turning out beautiful! If you are more interested in art therapy, you can go to the American Art Therapy Association website - look for AATA. The site is full of information.

Career 3
1. Advertising Account Executive
2. Do you have to know a lot about computers for this job?
3. That's a pretty broad question. In today's workplace, no matter what you will be doing, a good knowledge of related programs is often required. As an account executive, at the basic level, one would need to be comfortable with the use of Word, Outlook and Excel. In addition the use of Adobe software is often required. Social media adeptness is expected too. I hope this answers your question.
